Divya Bharti...The young Legend

Divya well known as unparalleled beautiful Saat Samundar Paar girl. Her sudden death at the age of 19 shocked her million fans and many still are not able to believe that she is no-more with us. She was the youngest legend who achieved an immense popularity with her hard-work and dedication.

Divya started her career with Gunahon Ka Devta casted opposite Aditya Pancholi. But during its making Kirti Kumar wanted to sign Divya for his directorial venture Radha Ka Sangam opposite Govinda. But the film didn't took off and when it started she was replaced by Juhi Chawla.

During her initial days she faced many rejections because of her young age. Finally, D. Ramanaidu, one of the biggest producers of Telugu films, offered Bobbili Raja opposite his son Daggubati Venkatesh to Divya because of her Mom involvement. From 1990 till early 1992 she did as many as 6 south Indian films. But still somewhere in her heart she wanted to make big in Bollywood.

Her thirst for making Big in Bollywood got satisfied after signing a film opposite Sunny Deol in Vishwatma. But Dil Hi Toh Hai opposite Jackie Shroff released on 1st January, 1992 was her first release which flopped miserably. Then Dil Ka Kya Kasoor released a little latter also didn't got her expected recognition. Saat Samundar Paar was the song which made her an overnight sensation.

The film which got her personal and professional boost was Shola Aur Shabnam (SAS).Professional because it was her first super-hit and personal because she met Sajid Nadiadwala on the sets of this film.

Her childhood was not very rosy kind in fact it was a very disturbed one. Her father's marriage to her Mom was a second marriage and her dad was addicted to drinking. Her parents were so much engrossed in their own personal problems that they had just no time for Divya.Rumors were that she was addicted to drinking and drugs too. On 10th June, 1992 she got married to Sajid.

On 25th June, 1992 another movie with Sharukh came on floor which was a roaring success named Deewana which established her foot in Bollywood .By the year 1993 she had more than 10 Bollywood film releases a record no heroine has broken till date. Her last release during her lifetime was JP Dutta's Kshatriya. She won the Filmfare award for Best Debut for Deewana but couldn't go to collect it as she was too busy shooting for a film. The award function was 6 days before her death.

On 5th April 1993, Divya fell from her 5th floor apartment which she shared with her husband and the very trajic event happened. What was shocking was that all the houses in that building had balcony grills except for her home. She wasn't alone though, dress designer Neeta Lulla, her husband Dr. Shyam Lulla and Divya's maid were present in the same house when this incident took place. Ironically, had Divya followed her schedule, she would have been in Hyderabad where she was supposed to be shooting. She cancelled her trip at the last moment and lost her life forever.

The cause of Death as per post-mortem report was basal skull fracture, fracture on the left hip bone and fractured ribs.

Some magazine wrote that Divya's mother came to know about the incident at 3:45.Kunal (Divya's borther ) and her father blamed her mother for the loss but Divya's mother did not say a word. The first one to arrive from the film industry was Pahlaj Nihalani who came with his wife and sons. One of Divya's producer's, Raju Mawani also walked in with him. Divya's dad had suffered a nervous breakdown. The entire industry was in for a huge loss both professional and personal. It is said that at that time around Rs. 5 crores were riding on the 19-year-old actress.

There were many stories circulating in the media regarding her untimely and shocking demise. Some said she was pushed, others said she slipped while some speculated suicide. The cops closed the case in 1998. There was nothing worthy that the police found out in their investigation.

She wasn't fake and always spoke her mind. She is missed by all her fans even today.

Stop Exploitation !!! Say No to Crackers!!!

Dear friends Today i am not talking about Bollywood but have an important message for all the people.I would like others to pour in their views about it as well as if they agree with me then they should share it with their friends and spread awareness.

Our favorite festival is at our doorstep, Diwali. Let’s Say No to Crackers. Its very unfair when at one instance we clean our house and at another instance we make the street dirty by bursting crackers. Deepavali is turning into a festival of sound and air pollution. The amount of money spent in buying crackers can be put into some meaningful cause. The thing which hurts me most is that our own kids get holiday during this festival but poor kids are exploited more during Diwali and made to work in night to make crackers without any safety equipment or gloves. So this time make the celebration little different celebrate the festival of lights with diyas and exchange of sweets.
Stop Exploitation !!! Say No to Crackers!!!
This is what we are saying NO to!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tu kitni achhi hai, tu kitni bholi hai...An immortal Song

Tu kitni achhi hai, tu kitni bholi hai
Pyaari pyaari hai, o maa o maa
Ke yeh jo duniya hai, yeh ban hai kaanton ka
Tu phulwaari hai, o maa o maa
Dukhne laagi hai maa teri aankhiyaan
Mere liye jaagi hai tu saari saari ratiyaan
Meri nindiyaan pe apni nindiyaan bhi
Tune waari hai, o maa o maa
Tu kitni achhi hai, tu kitni bholi hai
Pyaari pyaari hai, o maa o maa

Tu kitni achhi hai, tu kitni bholi hai, a song from movie Raja Aur Runk released in 1968.A song with beautiful lyrics and with a melodious voice. This is an amazing song which stresses on the fact that a Mom is never alone not even in her thoughts. Her thoughts are filled with her children thoughts. When a Mum is pregnant she has a sleepless night and keep on changing sides and when kid is born she still has sleepless night as she is busy attending her new born kid. And after that in her kids growing statge her care towards her kid takes the form of fear. This song was sung by Lata Ji and the sweet lyrics were written by Anand Bakshi .Laxmikant Pyarelal composed the music.

This song brings in all the emotion that a mom possesses. A mom's happiness resides in her kids. Her heart breaks with a drop of tear in her kids eyes. Mum only ask one thing that is her kids well-being. The song has some deep meaning lines."Yeh jo duniya hai Van hai kanto ka, Tu phulwari hai" mean "This world is full of thorns and you are the only garden of blooming flowers"

Thanks Anand Ji for portraying a Mom's emotion in words and I would also thank Lata Ji for putting a life in this Song. Every person who believes in the sacrifice of a Mom will surely love this song. You will get goose bumps after hearing and feeling it. This is one among many songs that is evergreen as well as immortal. One cannot praise the genius of Laxmikant Pyarelal high enough. Coming up with such a remarkable song. It’s quite a feat that Laxmikant Pyarelal achieved in this movie.
