Once Victor Hugo said "Love has no middle term; either it destroys, or it saves.".This quote suits the very charming singer and actress Sulakshana Pandit. Sanjeev kumar was addicted to drinking which led to his death in 1985.After Sanjeevji died, she went into acute depression. She has not yet recovered totally. She has locked the connecting door of her room and outside world. She will be in her room whole day and watch beautiful films, listen to beautiful music and write poetry.Spurned in love, Sulakshana's world became empty. She lost all her money and fame. Worst of all, the siblings whom she mothered into success refused to support her, rendering her emotionally robbed of and homeless.
At times Love becomes too much overrated, commercialized, and way too unpredictable. "Love isn't something you feel. It's something you commit to." We all are "emotional creatures", and are always in search of an emotional fix. So we should stop being a victim, get out of victim mentality, take steps towards you own maturity, self-development, and self-respect. There are no victims, only volunteers.
